Presents Dr. Berner's insights into the field of Psychiatry, along with personal reflection on my current journey towards medicine. Proposal plans for conducting a study which investigates the influence of Social Media Use Behaviors on depressive symptoms in young adults. Developed for the BHS 300 (Health Research & Writing) course.

A visual presentation detailing plans for a sleep-deprivation intervention aimed at students of the University of Washington Bothell School of Nursing and Health Studies. US vs. UK: Healthcare in Prison - a visual presentation comparing and critiquing the quality, delivery, function, and access to healthcare in prisons in the United States versus in the United Kingdom. Advocates for the improvement of care for prison populations in both countries. Developed for the BHS 305 (Health Policies & Systems) course. Presented in June 2019.
Oral Health in Prison - an infographic summarizing the state of oral care in American prisons. Discusses common themes and issues in inmate oral care and recommends possible remedies or actions. Developed for the BHS 305 (Health Policies & Systems) course.
